The exhibits showcase the creativity and talent of the graduates

The Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts Graduation Show 2024, organised by the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA) of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), will be held on the HKBU Kai Tak Campus until 23 June 2024. Themed “Opus”, the exhibition will feature the works created by the 130 AVA graduates, showcasing their creativity and talent. The campus, which was the former Royal Air Force Officers’ Mess and has been rated a Grade I historic building, now serves as a platform for creative exchanges between the students and the public.

An opening ceremony for the Show has been held on 31 May 2024, with Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) cum Acting Dean of Arts, and Professor Andreas Kratky, Director of the AVA, presenting awards to recognise students with outstanding performance. The ceremony was well attended with over 600 participants.

The exhibition was supported by donors including Professor Raymond Fung, JP, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, and Visiting Professor at the School of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, who sponsored the Professor Raymond Fung Award for Chinese Painting.

In addition to the ongoing exhibition, a series of events, including talks, workshops and a gathering will also be held in June 2024. Please visit the AVA BA Graduation Show 2024 website for more information.
